Video:Cable Crunches, Ab Workout
Cable crunches are a great way to work out your upper and lower abs as well as your serratus and oblique side muscles.
How to do cable crunches:
- Attach the rope with the pulley at it’s highest position
- Hold the rope in front of your forehead and do a crunch while slightly rounding your back. Bring your elbows to your knees while isolating your abs
- Hold the position momentarily or until you can really feel your abs contracting then repeat the movement
You can do this workout bringing your left elbow to your right knee and your right elbow to your left knee to isolate your obliques and serratus side muscles. This core workout can be adjusted to tone your abs with lightweight or build your abs with heavy weight.
